We seem to be essentially through the rainy season here down the rabbit hole, or Livin' Korea Loca, you might say. It's not hard to tell that a lot of these kids would rather be anywhere but here, doing anything but this, especially when they write in their diaries. And given that Korean, like other Asian languages is about characters, and not letters, specifically, reading some of it can be like out-takes from e.e. cummings, such is the punctuation and capitalizing, or lack thereof. My own brain still wonders when these people are ever going to learn what it REALLY means to care for themselves and their children, but I've speculated on that before, and I ain't gonna beat a dead horse. Or I shouldn't, anyway.......
