Meritorious--not mine, nothing on the "Lust List," but good photos none the less, the kind I like to have around. Most are from the galleries of CAR Magazine, whose incredible photos and dazzling editorial wit have always enchanted me; any magazine that has a section every month called "The Good, The Bad and the Ugly," wherein they rate all the automotive offerings based not only on technical data, but on what they think of them as cars. So cars, over the years have been said to be "getting long in the tooth," "suitable only for sales reps," and my personal favorite, forgive me if I can't recall the car it was attached to, but the verdict was, "why on earth would anyone buy this car?!" And, of course, any photo of my automotive idol, Carroll Shelby, is always welcome here, as are any photos or talk of his creations. And what's to be said about AMG, who has now spent 40 years tuning Mercedes Benzes into genuine supercars, except, "you'd really have to have stones to even think of such an endeavour...." I'll probably find others around to adorn the place, meanwhile, enjoy these.
