Yet again, I seem to be lagging in my blog-keeping duties, but on the flip side, my educational pursuits seem to be going swimmingly; I pretty much aced my first Master's class, although this next one will definitely be more of a challenge. Subbing keeps right on rolling along, but I find myself now wanting to get into a pursuit that's going to mean more to me in terms of my education, and that means getting in an ESL classroom somewhere on the regular, or just doing something else similar of the sort. I was subbing in an ESL classroom today in Ann Arbor, which has a large population of Asians, including Koreans; honestly, I almost felt at home. My reception by them was wonderful, and screwy as the day worked out due to other reasons, it was indeed a red-letter day. And given that the teaching position was vacant, due to the previous teacher leaving for another position rather quickly, there might indeed be possibilities here. Stay tuned.
