The continuing ramblings of a car-crazed....Russophile. Behold the 1915 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost owned by Nicholas II, Czar of all the Russias. Interesting color combination. And, it seems, up for sale as well, through a private dealer. I guess no one ever claimed ol' Nick wasn't rather ostentatious; needed room for Anistasia and all her friends, too. I'm sure if he was alive today, the Silver Ghost would have been supplanted by an armored Hummer, or GL-series Mercedes SUV. Something suitably counter-revolutionary, but at he same time properly splendid looking. Sweet.
