Inching closer to the time when, what I can only suppose now is this duty of mine, begins. I still have to get my confirmation paperwork, but my cardio says I'm okay, although we will have to continue to watch the cholesterol. Got the last of my shots, and as yet, I'm gonna have to get to Chicago and the Korean Consulate to get my visa. Everyone seems to be interested in how huge this is for me, and yeah, it is. What I'm asking more people to do is circle particularly around Martha, who has things to accomplish, which I know she will, but who will, in the situation shes in, need everyone's support. My oldest daughter has only asked for me to bring back a charm for her charm bracelet, boy, that's an easy one. Finally did get my hair cut, and realized that attempting to discuss politics with a hairdresser is about as effective as attempting the same with a Box Turtle. Some people just refuse to understand political dynamics, and the roles they play in the way people live, and ergo, the forces that might motivate them. And they never will. Nuff said. Otherwise, quite frankly, I can honestly say I have never, even in the face of such seeming impending disorder, felt so oddly calm and in control. I don't have a lot to say, I suppose I will as more of this really happens, and in the wake of it. For now I'm just going to handle things, and relish the moment. Seems like all one CAN do at times.
