Green among the lover's reeds,
Where all is hidden fair,
Everything becomes you,
As I stand anywhere.
What doesn't come,
Must never go,
But that's not what I want,
Only you in solid self,
And not an eerie haunt.
I've asked for less of God, I know,
And even asked for more,
And all I've asked
Has come to right,
Like nothing else before.
And if you dream tonight,
My dove,
And ever in the pangs of love,
Sweetness,
Think of me.
Be a slave to nothing more,
And simply ever be.
Crush the weight from tenderness,
And let it float away,
And seek the sky,
The you and I,
The everlasting day.

And with that, do I bow to you.......
