I'm not so sure any of these ideas were the best, even before the days when Burt Reynolds began to get really old, but, of course, given that a new Chevy Camaro is supposedly in the works, apparently not having a Firebird sister car is tantamount to illegitimacy. The single-stripe version, in the modern iteration of Lucerne Blue suits me, and the bronze-colored convertible with the Screaming Chicken decal has no precedent that I can recall, so that's no better than retro-ish. And, of course, there may be something to that, but something about still just isn't hitting me right.
