Much as I hate to say it, yes there are places in this world not well-served by education. I've lamented about it before, ad nauseam, some might say, and it is indeed as much a matter of the students as the teachers. But there's nothing saying we can't all be better. The amazing thing is, when I looked on the list of schools, I've been in a lot of these places. If I decided to do my part, it wouldn't be much of a stretch in terms of the places I've been.
