Back, once again, to the prospect of the job hunt. Actually, it's been on-going for a little while now, and I do indeed have a few hot prospects, perhaps not as many as I'd like, but I can indeed move myself in a new direction, I think, if the current results are any indication. It still may be necessary, as frequently it is during periods of change, to just "do something," anything, on the job, and work towards your goals. Okay, I can hang with that. Of course, the job market in Detroit definitively remains the mouth of Hell, although with the figures about the number of people moving OUT of Michigan, it gives kind of a twisted sense of hope. A little time, a little capacity for change, and everything will be fine. In the mean time, well, you still have to find a way to keep your attitude above water. Job hunting is never easy, particularly when your spirits start flagging because the calls that you really DO want don't come in. But I know that's common, so there's not much to be told in that regard. More, dear friends, as I continue learning to fly; again.
