Nothin' irritates me a whole lot more than being wrong because I was misinformed. Silly me, thinkin' the guy standing next to my Aunt Susie in the previous picture was indeed her husband. Unh uh. As it turns out, that was my cousin, John Curry, most notable for his ownership, at some point in my youth, of a Chrome Yellow 1974 Corvette, which I drove once, not long after getting my license. I think I pretty much scared the bejeezus out of him that ride with my teenage driving skills. The guy pictured HERE is my Uncle Joe, who has done everything from bred Weimaraners to who the hell knows what. All the other information stands, I have indeed not seen the man since the early 70s, and quite frankly, if I had to pick a relative of any ilk as a favorite, he'd definitely be on the podium, just 'cause I always thought he had such a cool life. Him and my Aunt Rose, God rest her soul, although she became even more cantankerous than usual after her stroke. I suppose I'd be cantankerous too, if something like a stroke pretty much sucked all the life outta me. I suppose it's a fondness for people who looked like they were getting the most out of life, preferably in such a way that they themselves didn't end up bein' a pain where the sun don't shine. Stickler me, yeah, and?! You know what they say, if you're not part of the solution......
Nothin else terribly noteworthy, I interviewed today with a company that does corporate ESL training; one of the interviewer's first remarks, of course, was, "well, we WERE doing a lot with Daimler-Chrysler, I don't know what's gonna happen now....." For those out of the automotive information loop, Daimler AG is no longer partnered with Chrysler Corporation; Chrysler is owned by Cerberus Holdings, and at the helm is former Home Depot CEO Robert Nardelli, he of the "massive golden parachute" infamy. Let's hope this ain't outta the frying pan and into the fire. More than anything, in the wake of the Daimler Chrysler divorce, expect at least a few models to go away post-haste, most notably the Chrysler Crossfire, probably, because of the fact that under the skin, it's basically a Mercedes SLK. In all likelihood, there will be other changes, too, although thank God the 5.7/6.1 Hemi is all-Chrysler, and probably one of the best motors they've engineered in eons. But back to the ESL job prospect; it seems as though it would work out pretty well, the company does business with a lot of other entities, and does a LOT of different things. If it works out, it could be nigh-on perfect overall, as jobs I've had go. We can only hope at this point. Cross your fingers.

Hi, I wish you'd talk to me about what's going on in your life as much as you put on your blog. Had no idea that you had an interview with an esl company. What's wrong with this picture? Also, speaking about pictures, why didn't you show me the pictures you got of everybody? If you have to keep anyone in the loop First and Foremost. IT NEEDS TO BE ME!!!!!!
Love, You know who.
